Fresh off watching Sir Ken Robinson expound on why we are going
at education all wrong: http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/66,
I read this: "The idea is to create a [process to train people in
creativity] that starts at the K-12 level. Perhaps not as far back
as kindergarten, but definitely before 6th grade. Students would be
trained in programming, art, writing, and other methods of
creation. When the students graduate, some number of them will be
given the opportunity to start a company. In return, the school
will get 2-10% of the company." (From YCombintor's
Hacker News) Not sure what I think - but its boldness,
timeliness and the 2-10% hit me. Still going to get over to the
latest Scobleshow with the teacher of the year and his ideas: http://urltea.com/1a5j?ScobleShowTeachofTheYear
